We are located in the heart of the region of Emilia, where the towns are amazingly close to one another. Many smaller towns around here, still off the beaten path in terms of mass tourism, can certainly hold their own when it comes to historical-artistic merit and local foods and wines when compared to the leading cities of Parma, Reggio, Modena and Bologna.
The lay of the land and the extensive road system make it possible to follow a number of itineraries and visit a great many worthwhile sites, even if located in different provinces, within the space of just one day. Or, why not, just take off spontaneously without a precise itinerary, ranging from the higher hill regions to the plain, enjoying the landscape as it passes by, exploring the many small towns, castles and nature walks as they present themselves..
Emilia is a region that has long been known for its cultural vitality, the wealth and variety of entertainment options and events designed to satisfy the most diverse tastes during any season of the year.
The internationally renowned Emilian cuisine has generated numerous areas associated with traditional specialties, food and wine itineraries, specialized food and wine festivals and even museums featuring its specialties, including:
